Sheila Parsons

My grandmother was my inspiration for exploring with paint.  Although an oil painter, she was the first to put a brush in my hand and spark my passion for painting.

I have a 2 year degree in Graphic Design and Offset Lithography and a separate degree in Education/Psychology.  I worked in the printing industry for years.  More recently I have returned to the painting arena as well as teaching watercolor classes.  I am a juried member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon.  I am a past President of Trail’s End Art Association in Gearhart, Oregon and painted with the Palette Puddlers in Cannon Beach. I now live in Camarillo, California where I hope to continue to broaden my horizons and knowledge.  It’s good to stretch yourself in new ways.
