Having grown up in this small coastal community, it has become a part of my spirit and soul. There is no greater scent than the Pacific Ocean, and no sound sweeter than the waves crashing against my thoughts. I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Puget Sound, where I studied Psychology, Art, and Communication. I also earned my degree in nursing, and currently practice as a Labor & Delivery RN at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria, Oregon. Being part of the labor and birth process is a miracle, and I feel blessed to be a part of it every chance I get. I have traveled much of the world, and particularly enjoy volunteering internationally with medical teams. Wherever I go, each of my experiences are translated as art to me. I am a married mother of three small children, and love seeing their passion for art grow over the years.
I am a juried member the Watercolor Society of Oregon and also belong to the Trails End Art Association in Gearhart Oregon. My medium of choice is watercolor. Proceeds from my paintings allow me to continue doing mercy missions.
