Sheila Parsons, President 2009 for the Trail's End Association shared what she loved about TEAA.

"Some of you have shared what you love about Trail's End Art (TEAA) at the last meeting. Here's a sample. We love: the comradeship, the people, the friendliness, making new friends, the sharing of ideas, supporting the arts, opportunities for learning, enjoying art together, the art work, classes, the teachers, the sharing, caring, and the openness. Someone added that they love the light in the windows. That's very profound. If you think about it, that can be taken several ways. I love that. I'm sure you could add more to the list. TEAA is hard to put into words, isn't it. Steve and I have no family in the area so to us it's like family. I want you to come because you love the meetings, show openings, open studio painting opportunities, and

potlucks. I'm sort of a rebel. You didn't know that when you voted for me did you? Sorry, but it's too late now. As you know I'm trying out some new thing. I'm willing to admit when something isn't working and then try something else. We have a lot of creative people in our organization that are giving me great advice.

I feel like I'm surrounded by the best team around. Creative people need to express…so express yourself. Let me know what you like or what you want to try. Jo brought us to new heights of greatness. Let's work together to make this the best art association yet. Let the light in the windows"
